Center Point Assembly

This is the first Sunday in the year 2021 - how quickly time is slipping by. Today we are focusing on the need to maintain a thirst and hunger for the things of God more in the days we're living in than ever before. The apostle Paul tells us how we are to do this by forgetting what is behind and pressing on toward the prize of what God has in store for us heavenward. The natural law of God is that everything that is living grows. Thirst and hunger are a sure sign that we are still alive and growing. But growth isn't always healthy, it must be nurtured and directed. The question we discuss today is, how often do we think about our spiritual growth? Do we prioritize it? Do we nurture it? There are many things in this life that would choke it out if we're not careful to guard and maintain our thirst and hunger for Godliness. That's the way we need to begin 2021. Join us as we intentionally pursue a life of continued thirsting after the righteousness of God...

Candles & Carols are a tradition here at Center Point. Every Christmas season, Jackie Boog our Worship Leader arranges a beautiful night of Christmas carols and worship songs that lead us into the Christmas season with a clear focus on the true reason that Jesus entered our dark and broken world. He came to bring us Easter, to be the resurrection for us so that we could share eternal life with Him - forever... Listen in and celebrate with us the true story of Jesus Christ and enjoy the Christmas story as HE is our Hope and Salvation...

We are so blessed to have Pastor Ryp Hankins back in our ministry. Ryp and Vicky have come home to be a part of Center Point and Ryp will be a leader in our prayer ministry as he is a man of great faith and knows how to pray and believe God to do what HE promises. Today, Pastor Ryp is giving a message that focuses us on the true meaning of why Jesus came to earth so many years ago as a baby who grew in stature and favor of God to be the saving Lamb of God for us all. Listen in and be encouraged as Emmanuel is for you today no matter what you're going thru. This Christmas season will bring you great Joy and Blessings as you receive Him...

Sunday, December 13, 2020. Continuing on in our study on 2 Peter we are titling the message "Relentless Deception". I'm asking those studying along with us to read the entire 2nd chapter and see how directly Peter deals with the false teachers and prophets of his day. Notice also the punishment that is in store for them from God. We must understand how God detests those that falsely speak for Him and in so doing lead so many astray. In our message today we are emphasizing the urgency of truth in today's "end time's" world day as un-truth is so prevalent all around us. Deception of all kinds is the enemy's number one strategy to destroy us. He doesn't care how he traps us through his lies and deceit as long as he does. However, we also find that God is able to save those who are dedicated to Him from the deceiver even in the darkest hour of evil. God knows who we are, and He will protect us as we trust in Him...
