Center Point Assembly

Pastor Tyler is speaking this morning on what it means to see with 20/20 vision looking backwards in order to see what God has in store looking forward and how we learn to invest our time in people as Jesus did. He uses the example of Jesus actions at Jacob's well with the Samaritan woman. He asks her for a drink of water only to offer her in return a refreshing supply of true spiritual water that never runs dry. Jesus takes the time to invest in her even in his weariness as an example for us to learn how to invest ourselves in others in a similar fashion. Ministry requires investment and God promises an eternal result as we're faithful to obey His promptings. Listen in to learn how to pray and fast seeking His spiritual wisdom through the wisdom of the Holy Spirit...

Christmas is a special day, for the most part we all enjoy Christmas. But have we ever really wondered why Jesus really had to come to earth in the first place? Why did He have to leave Heaven and come to earth to be a part of His creation? We try to answer that question today and by doing so giving an invitation to accept Jesus as the true gift from Heaven that He really is. By understanding Christ's role to be one of us so that He could pay the penalty of sin that we couldn't pay is the way that we accept the gift of Heaven. Listen and accept Jesus...

We're continuing our discussion on the Holy Spirit as one of the Persons of the Trinity and what He wants to do for us. Today we are going to better understand a few of the many roles the Holy Spirit wants to be involved with in our daily lives. He Loves us and His desire is to be everything God's Word declares He is for us. He's just waiting for us to invite Him in. He will not force Himself upon us any more than God the Father or Jesus does. We have the power to choose and it's by our choices are we either filled and fulfilled by the power of the Holy Spirit or we're on our own trying to live life in our own powerless and frustrating way. It is the prayer of this pastor that we learn about and invite the Person and the power of the Holy Spirit into our daily lives and live life to the absolute fullest and to glorify Jesus and strengthen His Church. Listen in and be blessed!

As we are beginning our journey speaking about the Holy Spirit, we begin today by speaking about His role in the Church. It is really hard to know where to begin to speak about the Holy Spirit as His presence is everywhere in our lives, He's just so absolutely amazing. It is the prayer of this pastor that over the next few messages on the Holy Spirit that we will begin to appreciate how much He loves us and how much He wants to be a part of our lives. WIth that said, we will need to open our hearts and minds to hear what He really wants us to know and to welcome His power and Gifts in our lives. My experiences say that many are afraid and somewhat intimidated by the Holy Spirit, so it is my prayer that we will remove this fear and clear up any misunderstanding that would be responsible. Clearly we know the enemy is at work here, so we stand against Him as well as we ask the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth. Come along on the journey with us...
