God often uses the “weak.” Which means if God is calling you to something and you don't feel ready - you're perfect. God uses our weakness and vulnerabilities to show off his strength. We often disqualify ourselves from God using us to be his hands and feet because of our lack. Or we use it as an excuse to not be used by God out of fear. But God works through, redeem, and transform our vulnerabilities into great things. It is often these weaknesses that specially qualify us for things.

It's easy to believe a lie about what will make us free only to end up more enslaved than ever. The way of Jesus can seem restrictive initially but ultimately it's the counterintuitive path to freedom.

We all have believed lies about what we thought would make us happy. The lie is that if I prioritize my own pleasure I'll be happy. But you won't. The reality is when you prioritize fulfillment over pleasure, you get both. And ultimately, you find happiness.

Some of the biggest lies we believe are the lies about who we are. Once you discover the truth about who you are it becomes a catalyst for all that God wants to do in you and through you.

In the series we’ll talk about how every human being, religious or not, is prone to believe lies. In fact, every bad decision we’ve made has come from a lie we believed. So, how do we decipher what is true in a world with so much misinformation? What lies are you potentially believing right now?
