As we learn to be led by the Holy Spirit we will produce what the Bible calls "fruit". Fruit that is produced in and through you, but not by you. A fruit that ultimately will impact everyone around you.

The first line of the first section, or book, of the Torah would cause the ancient world to rethink everything. Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God… It turns out that the church scripture was right... You’re here ON PURPOSE W/PURPOSE You are not the result of a cosmic conflict between the gods. You were not created by the universe. GOD WANTED IMAGE-BEARERS who would relate with one another and him.

We’ll discover that many of us were given a Bible as kids full of weird stories, difficult names to pronounce, and confusing subplots. We were told everything in it was true, we should believe it, and do our best to obey it. Then we grew up. Suddenly, our simple child-like faith gave way to grown up questions. In this series we'll discover the story of how we got the Bible and why we can take it seriously.

We have been called to be salt and light in our generation. Wherever we find ourself in life...God's placed us there strategically for this season. And salt always preserves and light always shines.

Life is imminent. And we are stewards of the extraordinary message of good news. Let's be FOR our city by letting them know about that good news.

God often uses the “weak.” Which means if God is calling you to something and you don't feel ready - you're perfect. God uses our weakness and vulnerabilities to show off his strength. We often disqualify ourselves from God using us to be his hands and feet because of our lack. Or we use it as an excuse to not be used by God out of fear. But God works through, redeem, and transform our vulnerabilities into great things. It is often these weaknesses that specially qualify us for things.
