Despite man’s thoughts, God will ultimately receive glory in all things.

Endure persecution by trusting God’s supreme hand. God’s people will face persecution in this world. But they can take heart knowing that suffering is part of God’s plan and it is not out of His control.

Live life in response to who God is. God’s love, care, and mercy move us to honor Him. God’s people honor the Lord through their respect, love, and obedience to Him. Knowing God is essential to walking a life of holiness.

Christ invites everyone to receive His offer of hope. God’s people have the responsibility and privilege of inviting others to know and follow Jesus. He is worthy of our invitation and He is the hope of the world.

Cling to God when nations rage. The nations will continue to rise, fall, and strive against one another. Our hope is not in this world. God is our sure foundation for the future.

Trust in the character of Christ. Jesus was passionate about holiness and tender in His care for all people. But He also had all authority. God’s people can both trust Jesus and follow Him.

Take heart, God is greater than your problems. Amid the troubles of life, God’s children can trust God’s timing and His strength. God has a plan and purpose for His people that cannot be thwarted.

In your trouble, behold God’s greatness. When problems and troubles come our way, more important than our immediate deliverance or personal comfort is for us to know the greatness of God and trust His goodness.

Man is guilty of sin, but not without hope. We all have sinned and are without ability to remove our guilt and judgment. But God is gracious. He has provided cleansing through Christ.

Stand secure in the strength of God. Those who trust in the Lord will be secure in Him. But the wicked will be judged. God’s people can rest in the righteousness of God.
