Behold the glory of God in Christ Jesus. This Christmas, take time to look anew at the baby born in Bethlehem. To gaze upon Jesus is to behold God, to see the King, and to stand in the presence of the Savior. He is worthy of our humble submission and worship.

God is moving in the details of your story. God, in His providence, guides, orchestrates, and orders our lives. We are responsible for living our lives in faith and obedience to Him, but He is working out His plans and purposes in and through our journey. The providence of God comforts and settles our souls as we trust His power and sovereignty.

Live in the knowledge of God’s grace. Believer, God has chosen to graciously be with you, provide for you, and be patient with you. His amazing grace gives confidence to your faith and moves you to obey Him.

Praise God with thanksgiving. Giving thanks to God is a form of praise and worship to Him. As we yield to the Holy Spirit, He produces in us a continuous heart of gratitude and praise for all the good gifts we have been graciously given.

Show compassion to those who have wronged you. The Lord was merciful and compassionate to us while we were still His enemies. Now Christ calls His followers to extend His compassion to our enemies. The life of faith is a life that shows the mercy of God to others.

God leads through the wisdom of His Word. God is the all-wise one! He is the source of wisdom. As our Creator and Lord, we must look to Him for the wisdom we need for life. He has graciously revealed the wisdom we need in the pages of His Word.

Trust God’s sovereignty while waiting on Him. Waiting is hard. We are often called to wait for rescue, relief, or deliverance when the trials and troubles of life crash in. We must wait on the Lord amid the difficult day. He knows us, He remembers us, and He is the only sure source of salvation.
