Imitate Jesus and make Him known. A healthy church knows their identity as children of God, follows their Savior, and completes their mission. Jesus makes Himself known to the world through His church.

The world's spiritual approach to truth is misguided. The world we live in denies the truth about Jesus. They seek personal spiritual improvement through human efforts or mystical experiences. However, there is only one way to true spirituality and that is through Jesus Christ.

Love one another. God is love and He is the source of love. It follows that His people would love as He loves. God has made His love known to His people and they are called to love one another. 

Be discerning. God’s people must be able to tell the difference between truth and error. The evil one has filled this world with lies and seeks to lead people away from God. We can discern between truth and error with the revelation of Jesus and the Word of God.

Rest in your secure salvation. The world, the evil one, and even our own hearts can condemn us and our faith. We need the assurance of our salvation that God gives. God assures our heart through truth, through obedience, and through His presence!

Love like Jesus. Jesus' love is marked by intentional service and sacrifice. Those who love like Jesus demonstrate that they have the new life that Jesus gives to all who believe on Him. God's people love like Jesus.
