Sin is serious. Jesus’ righteousness is greater! Salvation brings with it a heart transformation. Jesus' life and righteousness is given to His people. The children of God now "look" like Jesus. They love what He loves and hate what He hates.

Jesus Christ is the center of our Christian life. Jesus is the foundation for our faith and the reason for our service and godliness. He alone must be our consistent focus.

Praise God with thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is the humble and joyful acknowledgement of God’s greatness, goodness, and grace that flows from a heart of faith. It is good to give thanks to God!

Live secure in Christ. The believer has a confident position in Christ and a secure identity as child of God. These realities give strength and joy to the believer as they abide in Christ.

Guard against error. The evil one desires to lead God's people astray. Thanks be to God who has provided His Spirit and His Word to guard His people against error and unrighteousness.

Stand out as a Christ follower! Followers of Jesus are apparent by the way they live and what they say. The Lord has empowered His people to live distinct lives before the watching world.
