As a Christian, your job is your mission field. Let people know you are a Christian and that your faith in Jesus affects your whole life including your work.

Most of us have a desire to go out and share Christ in our community but yet, we struggle to know how to do it. We so badly want others to know the forgiveness of God through Jesus but we don’t want to scare people away by saying the wrong thing! Thankfully for us, the bible has a lot to say about how we can effectively reach those in our community who don’t know Jesus. Join us in-person, or online on Sunday as we explore this topic together!

One of our greatest opportunities and challenges for evangelism is our friends – the very special people in our lives. Why is it difficult to reach out to those who may be closest to us?

This Thanksgiving, let us show our gratitude to God for giving us our families by sharing the gospel with them. This Sunday, we will be reminded of the amazing grace and awesome truth that will move us to effectively share Jesus with our loved ones.

We start our new five-week sermon series, “Harvest Fields” this Sunday. This sermon series will explore practical ways in which we can proclaim the gospel of Jesus to the world around us: our family, friends, neighbours, and co-workers. We will introduce our new sermon series this Sunday, October 4, by reminding ourselves to “open our eyes and look at the fields” for “they are ripe for the harvest.

Fighting the good fight of the Faith is not hostile combat against a physical enemy but rather rising to a challenge of the Christian life.

We all want to feel fulfilled, satisfied and content but yet, even in our world of instant gratification with things right at our fingertips, many in our society still crave something more. Where can we go to be truly fulfilled? Maybe we’re drawing from the wrong source. This Sunday, we will investigate the scriptures together and discover what God has to say about finding true contentment.

Our faithfulness is an excellent way to let others see for themselves the amazing God whom we serve and his love for people. This faithfulness is first practised and cultivated in the ordinary, mundane things of life. This is the evidence of genuine faith that leads us to grow and persevere.

As we live our lives as Christians we need to be reminded to look at the example of others, let go of sin, and fix our focus on Jesus. When we do these things we are strengthened and grow strong in our faith. We can be great examples in our world when we are strong and persevere.

Communication is a vital part of our daily life. As Christians, we need to be effective in the way we listen to God and talking to Him. God provides us with a formula found in James 1:19-20 that assures we are well equipped to model this area of our lives to the world.
