Today we’re going to be talking about fear, and more importantly – how to keep our faith in times of fear. We will be working through the account of King Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20 and learning how we can rely on God to help us overcome our fears and remain faithful in hard times.

Let us be encouraged as we find purpose and meaning through God’s word during this time of crisis

It has been God’s plan to reconcile the world to himself. This was actualized by Jesus coming to earth to pay the supreme price for us.

As we study this powerful passage (Philippians 2:1-11) we will look at the incredible qualities that Jesus possessed. We will also discuss why Jesus should be above all else in our life.

This Sunday, May 17, we will explore how God uses the gospel as his instrument for salvation and its implications for us today.

A great way to learn the art of anything, is to take lessons from someone who is a master. That’s why this week, the title of the lesson is called: Sharing the Gospel, A Master Class with Jesus. We will look into the account from John 4 where Jesus spoke with the Samaritan woman which is a tremendous example for us to follow as we try to become better at sharing the gospel.

The Gospel is the good news of Jesus, that is, the Antidote of the bad news of God’s wrath and judgment against sin.

Freedom is a concept that resonates with all people and is something many have fought and died for through the ages. Even right now, we are living through a time when we are longing to be free from isolation. In scripture, we see that God values freedom as well and has offered us a type of freedom that is even more valuable than freedom from COVID-19 isolation! On Sunday, we will talk about the two kinds of freedom offered through Christ that can change everything in our lives: freedom for eternity, and freedom for today.

Our message to the world is one that is filled with hope. Join us this Sunday as we celebrate the living hope that God has given us through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
