This Sunday we will be talking about a powerful story yet one that is controversial and misunderstood found in John 8:1-11. Upon further review we find a profound moment where Jesus’ interaction with an adulterous woman has so much meaning for us today. Join us this Sunday as we study this powerful passage.

For all of us who have difficulties, problems, and weaknesses in life, and in need of healing, peace, and strength, this question might sound absurd and unnecessary. This Sunday, we will ask ourselves the same question that Jesus asked the crippled man at the pool of Bethesda to see what we could have in common with him. There is more to this question than meets the eye!

As we continue to grow in our relationship with God, we turn our attention to the manner in which we communicate with him. This Sunday, we will look into the wedding at Cana, where Jesus performed his first recorded miracle, in order to glean valuable lessons about prayer.

We are currently working our way through a series on “Lessons from the Life of Jesus”. Today, we are going to review the account of Jesus being tempted in the wilderness from Luke 4 and address one simple question: How can we get better at fighting temptation? We’re going to unpack the account to see the ways in which Satan attacked Jesus and the strategies Jesus used to overcome those temptations. The goal is to distill down His strategies into an easy-to-remember format so that we can also be victorious at overcoming temptation in our lives.

What does it mean that Jesus is the bread of life in John 6 and is this enough given all the challenges we face on a daily basis?”

We have a truly awesome Lord and Saviour in Christ Jesus. But how much do we trust him? This Sunday, we will be reminded of his amazing love and care for all of us, remembering how sweet it is to trust in him!

Over the last number of weeks, we’ve been searching God’s word with the goal of preparing ourselves to live a “gospel-worthy life”. This week, we will wrap up our series with a look at the one thing that’s required to put into practice all the concepts we’ve discussed: Change. In Philippians 4:9, Paul calls us to “put it into practice”. Doing this is going to require us to change some things and on Sunday, we’re going to tackle this idea together. Prepare to be encouraged, stretched, and challenged by God’s word with this all-important topic as we investigate changing our lives so we can put into practice all we’ve learned during this series!” Join us this Sunday to encourage and be encouraged toward a gospel-worthy life!

The apostle Paul writes to the church, “Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ” (Philippians 1:27a). Last week, we looked into what “conduct yourselves” means, and delved into what “in a manner worthy” entails. This week, we will focus on perhaps the most difficult part of Paul’s admonition: “whatever happens".

As recipients of the good news of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection that lead to our salvation, we have a responsibility, as the apostle Paul writes, to “conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.” This Sunday, we will look into what it means to give honour and praise to Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for us, and how we can do this in our daily lives.
