The Parable of the Wheat and Tares is one of the stories Jesus told about judgment. In some ways, it surprises us. We see an important idea about God’s judgment – punishment is not immediate (that is, we are not punished the moment we sin). Rather, punishment is ultimate (it happens at the final judgment). Why is this important for us?

The message explores the Treasure principle that the Kingdom of God is valuable, that it is worth any cost or price in this life including life itself, in order that we may enjoy it more fully forever.

Through this parable, Jesus tells us that there are four types of responses from people when they hear the good news of Jesus Christ, out of which only one is pleasing to God. This Sunday, we will look at how we may exemplify the “good soil” in our hearts.

As we aim to achieve “Full Devotion to God”, our goal is to figure out how we can devote ourselves to God in every area of our lives so that no matter what we find ourselves doing, we are still serving God. This Sunday, we are going to talk about how we can get better at that and why it is that we want to be fully devoted to God in our lives today.

As we continue our sermon series on total devotion to God, a key ingredient to that is to show love for sinners today. We will be taking a closer look at how God treated sinners and how we can put that into practice today

We will continue to focus on our relationship with God with the objective of growing in full devotion to him. Today, we will get to know more about our God and how we should respond as his people.

To kick off 2019, we will focus our attention on a new sermon series that will help us grow towards “Full Devotion to God.” Today, we will remind ourselves of a key element in ensuring our growth and devotion to God: understanding our covenant with God and the relationship that we have with him.
