    We stopped into Sextant's Edna Valley tasting room on a weekday afternoon. We were a bit surprised to find it rather bustling and busy, despite it being mid-week. The tasting room is charming and well-appointed and the wines match.  A fun, light-hearted stop, Sextant is the perfect place to take out-of-town visitors, friends with kids, or larger groups!

    Take two at Timbre! This week we're catching you up on the red wines at Timbre Winery. We also want to apologize for some of the scratchy sound quality (we think we're DJs) that crops up toward the end of the recording. Our trusty recording device ran low on battery juice during our visit and we had to switch to our backup mic, which got a little scratchy. We left most of the audio in because there's some good info that comes through, but we know it can be hard to listen to! Thanks for sticking it out with us.     You know that feeling when you’re so sure that you already know everything about a certain thing or area and then you realize you’ve been wrong and actually know nothing? That was the feeling we got after visiting Locatelli. I knew that I hadn’t been to ALL the wineries in this area, but I felt sure that I’d been to all the really good ones or at least heard of them.
