Luke 15:11-15:32 | Jesus came into the world to usher in God's Kingdom and make a way for us to have peace with God. Our sin has made us hostile towards God but the life, death and resurrection of Jesus has makes a way for us to have peace with God.

Daniel 6:1-6:28 | Sometimes we may find ourselves in a pit of despair with the deck stacked against us. God loves and even orchestrates those scenarios for us so he can show his power in our lives.

Daniel 5:1-5:30 | God's sovereignty is both a threat and a comfort. His control over all things threatens our desire to be the centre of all things and places us directly in the path of his righteous wrath. Yet, his sovereignty also provides great comfort because He is a God bent on gathering a people to himself.

Daniel 4:1-4:37 | King Nebuchadnezzar was the most powerful man in the world and one of the most powerful ever. And in an instant, God humbled him. Why? Sheer grace.

Daniel 3:1-3:30 | God is able to deliver us from the fiery furnace but in His sovereignty He often decides to deliver us through the fire.

Daniel 2:1-2:49 | The sovereignty of God is one of the big themes in our Bibles and it is given so that we might not loose hope in a world that is plagued by sin. While sin operates in this world, God has not lost control. He brings nations up and he takes them down, and through all of it he is working out his good purposes.

Daniel 1:1-1:21 | Where is God in trying circumstances? He is in the midst of them. How are we called to live in the midst of trying circumstances? As faithful, compelling followers of Jesus.

Acts 1:8-1:8 | Our God is a missionary God always pursuing His lost children and His broken creation. As His people, the church, we too are on this mission. Corporately and individually we are all SENT into the world, right outside our front door and across the globe, to bring good news and God's love.

Ephesians 4:11-4:13 | The pastor is the one who does ministry, right? I mean, isn't that what we pay him for? Well, not according to Scripture.

1 Corinthians 12:4-12:11 | Apart from Him we can do nothing but when we are empowered by the Spirit it is for the good of the church, the world, and it makes much of Jesus.
