Exodus 11:1-12:32 | Throughout the Exodus narrative, God was preparing the way for the Israelites' freedom from slavery. They had a choice to trust God and follow his plan... or not, and face judgement through the tenth plague. Someday we will all stand before God and account for our lives. Jesus prepared a way for us to have freedom...Today we also have a CHOICE!

Exodus 8:20-10:29 | Who hardened Pharaoh's heart? God or Pharaoh? Yes. Both. Which leads us into a study of the Sovereignty of God.

Exodus 7:1-8:19 | At first glance, it seems like the plagues God inflicts on Egypt are unnecessary and heavy-handed. But in them God is dealing a crushing blow to the false gods of Egypt. Later, God would deal another crushing blow at the cross and resurrection of Christ. Not only were the magicians staffs "swallowed up" by Aaron's staff and Pharaoh's army "swallowed up" in the Red Sea, but death was "swallowed up" in victory.

Exodus 4:1-4:31 | God has an answer (and solution!) to every excuse that we can come up with that we think will excuse us from doing His will. Moses continued to make excuses as to why he was not qualified to do what God had asked him to do. But God wouldn't ?"let him off the hook". Rather, God provided all that Moses needed to carry out His purposes, for His glory and our good, despite the ?"hand, mouth and foot disease" that Moses was plagued with. And when Moses finally obeyed God, the people believed, and God's wonderful plan of redemption and deliverance continued to unfold.

Exodus 3:11-3:22 | Moses asks God, "Who am I?" and "Who are you?" and God responds by saying, "I will be with you" and "I Am." God is God. And He is enough.

Exodus 3:1-3:10 | Like Exodus 3, God continues to see and hear the cries of His people in affliction, stoops to save, and continues to intervene by declaring to the Church what He declared to Moses: ?"I will send you".

Exodus 2:11-2:25 | The far-reaching effects of sin affects each one of us. Sometimes we are the victim; sometimes we are the perpetrator. No one is immune. But, in the midst of it all, the depths of God's grace meets us, and we experience His provision, preparation & promise - just as Moses experienced as a result of an ugly situation a long time ago. His story becomes our story - the beautiful story of the depths of God's grace in the midst of the depths of our darkest sin.

Exodus 1:1-2:10 | As we begin our series in the first fifteen chapters of Exodus we find God's covenant people afflicted with burdens and in bondage to a cruel taskmaster. God blesses them in the midst of affliction, uses unlikely heroes for His purposes, and provides a saviour to rescue them. And He has done the same for us.

John 8:48-8:59 | Jesus wasn't just a good man or a great man. He wasn't just a prophet or a super-prophet. The Jesus revealed in the Gospel of John is the Jesus who declares, ?"I AM" ? nothing short of God.
