CEO Kingdom Seekers

"WAIT."

That's what Dr. Lee heard for months when she prayed about shifting her business. Not a gentle whisper, but a clear directive repeating over and over.

And for someone who's always been the first to move, the quickest to pivot, and the one who "burns the ships" without looking back? Waiting felt impossible.

In this raw and deeply personal episode, Dr. Lee shares the story of her shift from The Institute for Trauma to Regulated Roots- and how this pivot was radically different from every other business shift she'd made before.

For the first time in her entrepreneurial journey, she didn't rush the process, make grand announcements, or force the timeline. Instead, she waited. She listened. She let God lead at His speed, not hers.

If you've ever felt the tension between what the world says you "should" do in business and what God is calling you to do—if you've ever been frustrated by His timing or wondered why He's making you wait when you're "ready to go"—this episode is for you.

In This Episode, You'll Learn:

• Why God sometimes makes you wait (and how it may have nothing to do with you)
• The difference between building WITH God versus asking God to bless what you've already decided
• How to discern between critique (feedback that helps you grow) and criticism (condemnation from people not aligned with your work)
• Why "burning the ships" and making grand announcements can actually be a dysregulated way to shift
• The power of slowing down so the people around you can move at their own speed (instead of getting whiplash from your pace)
• How to grow something "underground" before announcing it publicly (and why that's the natural way God intended)
• Why being "nice" and being "kind" are NOT the same thing (and how people-pleasing is sabotaging your business)
• How to make space for grief when you're letting something die so something new can be born, AND
• What to do when people criticize you for putting God first in your business decisions

Key Quotes from This Episode:

• "1% makes a huge difference when the 1% is God. Ask yourself- Am I building this and asking God to bless it, or am I building this because God told me to build it? Those are very different perspectives."
• "Being kind is going to feel mean if you're used to being nice. You're being harsher and firmer than you ever have, and those boundaries are what will sustain your business long-term."
• "It can't just be about going to God for what you need. It's also got to be about being in relationship with Him and being kind to Him and allowing Him to say what He needs to say to you, even when it hurts."

Bible Verse underpinning this Episode: Proverbs 3:5-6 — "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

In this powerful and personal episode, Dr. Lee takes you on a journey of breaking free from the worldly boxes that limit our Kingdom impact.

Dr. Lee shares a raw and recent moment of divine instruction- a call to step away from the hustle of serving clients to intentionally work on her own business, Regulated Roots. This act of obedience led to a profound revelation involving the spiritual gift of praying in tongues, the story of Queen Esther, and an unexpected parallel from the movie The Greatest Showman.

This episode is for the leader who knows they were made for "such a time as this" but is hesitant to break the rules, upset the status quo, or step into the unknown. It's a raw look at what it means to be a divine channel for God, to steward the unique gifts He has given you, and to have the courage to step onto "the other side" of what the world deems acceptable.

In this episode, you will learn:

• The Importance of "Pray First, Pray Last, and Pray in the Messy Middle": How to center your day and your business on God's will from the very beginning.
• Practicing What You Preach: The challenge for service-based leaders to pour back into their own God-given ventures.
• Understanding Manifestation Gifts: A demystification of praying in tongues and how it can be a powerful tool for leaders who can't find the words for their deepest prayers.
• Your "Esther Anointing": How God may be calling you to step out of your comfort zone to fulfill a purpose you were born for, even when it's terrifying.
• Breaking Free from the "Cage": Recognizing the restrictive boxes society, and even we ourselves, create and finding the courage to step into the unique, innovative calling God has for you.

Are you a leader who feels caught between the world's relentless pursuit of "progress" and the quiet call of Christian hope?

In this powerful episode of C-Suite Kingdom Seekers, Dr. Lee challenges the common understanding of hope and reveals why true, faith-led leadership often looks completely "delusional" to those who don't share your eternal worldview.

In This Episode, You Will Learn:

• The Transformative Shift: Dr. Lee's personal testimony on moving from building her own business and asking God to bless it, to asking God what He wants her to build—a shift that changes everything.
• The True Definition of Hope: A deep dive into Christian hope as a virtue, a fruit of faith, and a seed of charity, and how this definition impacts your daily business decisions.
• Why You Look "Crazy": Understand why your trust in God's goodness and your willingness to let a business deal fall through for the sake of integrity looks absolutely insane to the world.
• The Core Issue: The spiritual root behind so many mental, emotional, and relational struggles in the C-Suite: a lack of trust in God as a perfect, good parent.
• The Power of Surrender: How surrendering your need to be "right" and your desire for control actually leads to more joy, peace, and true success in your life and business.

Quote of the Episode: "If you have hope, you are going to look delusional. You are going to look crazy... because your hope changes everything." - Dr. Lee
