The third installment of the College Football Playoff rankings is out, and BYU is at No. 11 in the rankings.

That would leave the 9-1 Cougars outside of the Playoff bracket. KSL Sports BYU Insider Mitch Harper asked College Football Playoff Chairman Hunter Yurachek what the differentiators are that keep the Cougars behind two-loss teams, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, and Alabama.

Harper shared his thoughts on BYU's No. 11 ranking and the path forward for Kalani Sitake's squad.

The first thing they have to do is take care of business in a tough road environment at Cincinnati.

BYU offensive coordinator Aaron Roderick shared what the Cougs are doing to prepare for the road environment at Nippert Stadium.

Finally, Mitch caught up with BYU defensive end Tausili Akana after his big game against the TCU Horned Frogs.
