(23:58-36:23) – ESPN College Football Insider Adam Rittenberg joins Query & Company following last night’s CFP Rankings to share his thoughts on how the committee viewed Alabama and Miami. Additionally, they evaluate the chances of SMU making the CFP if they lose to Clemson this weekend, states that Indiana is locked into CFP because there is only one realistic bid steeler and Indiana can’t move out of the top twelve teams and believes that there is still skepticism about the Indiana Hoosiers.
(36:23-43:44) – Jake closes out the first hour of the show by asking Jimmy and Eddie for their advice on something that was brought to his attention yesterday when it pertains to his life.
(43:44-1:04:36) – John Fanta from FOX Sports joins Jake Query & Jimmy Cook to share his thoughts on what he has seen from the Indiana Hoosiers this season after really liking what he saw in the preseason. Also, he evaluates the future of Mike Woodson, assesses if the Butler Bulldogs will be able to make it back to the NCAA Tournament, and applauds the job Matt Painter has done already with getting his players to understand their roles on the team and get them to buy in.
(1:07:31-1:19:13) – Dustin Dopirak from the IndyStar joins Query & Company to recap last night’s loss for the Indiana Pacers to the Toronto Raptors. He opines on the comment that Tyrese Haliburton made following the game last night, tries to make sense as to why Obi Toppin only played 14 minutes last night, and agrees with Jake that Jarace Walker hasn’t consistently taken advantage of the minutes he’s playing on a nightly basis.
(1:19:13-1:23:58) – Hour two of the program concludes with Jake and Jimmy addressing a tweet from Albert Breer about moving the Big Ten Championship college football game to Chicago from Indianapolis.
(1:23:58-1:49:12) – Zak Keefer from The Athletic joins the program to provide an explanation as to what Andrew Luck’s role will be as the General Manager of Stanford football and admits that the play for Anthony Richardson still isn’t a finished product, by any means, but he’s making more winning plays since returning from his benching. Finally, he acknowledges how beneficial it would be for Richardson’s development if Indianapolis is able to get the team back into the playoffs.
