Before the New Year gets too serious, join us for a final weekend of pigskin procrastination. It's the CDST "Couch Potatoes Are People Too" show After all it isn't easy going all day, winning and losing at the games we play. Hell sometimes the dang games don't even get played. And sometimes the goal posts are moved midstream, after the drive's already started. So this weekend, let's just pretend nothing's changed. The top spot in the AFC's top spot is still up for grabs (yeah right), and try and forget about the potential Baltimore-Cincy toin coss (won't happen). But seriously, we've still got lots to discuss, including Rodgers vs. the Lions, the Jets flying into Miami to cleat the Fins in the shins and do the Steelers' bidding, and the Jags about to go from rags to riches.

Plus, there's the National Title game at Sofi, sans tailgating (who ever heard of that), but with plenty of purple themes and preposterous prices for nosebleed seats. Is all the hype for this really Ft. Worth it? All I know (and care about) is that beautiful Ugga will be there. There's also a somewhat desperate Giants squad looking to secure some breathing room against the always vulnerable Vikes, Dallas not wanting to take a chance with Gardner the QB, and in what looks like the barn burner of the day, the Raiders and Steelers going at it on the 50-yr anny of the Immaculate Reception. Then there's some somewhat savory, leftover Sunday action, headlined by the Pack vs. the Fins in what could be, who knew, Aaron's last gasp before ringing in the New Year, followed by Old Man (Brady) doing some coyote ugly? QB'ing in the desert... we may need some peyote to get through this one.

As refreshments, we'll have some Dean Martin Roasters, and go old school for some Ferrell fraternizing. Plus another presser that was like pulling teeth with ventriloquist Bill; why didn't he just say we're on to Cincinnati (that's who they're playing this week, isn't it?)
