Chad DeDomincis subs in for Joe Yerdon on this Friday episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, joining Patrick Moran to talk about former Buffalo Sabres captain Jack Eichel’s return to Key Bank arena as a member of the opposition on Thursday night.
One of the most talented and polarizing Sabres players in franchise history, this was a game many fans and surely Jack himself had circled on the calendar.
If you’re a Sabres fan the game played out as good as one could ever hope----Eichel was held scoreless while both Peyton Krebs and Alex Tuch, two pieces Eichel was traded for both put pucks in the net in a 3-1 Sabres win that felt as electric inside the arena as it has in years. After the game Eichel was extremely petty in his comments. Chad has thoughts on that and plenty more stemming from this game and an organization that perhaps uses this big victory as a springboard going forward.
The guys also discuss the Buffalo Bills as free agency draws near and much more.
