After filing appeals that were ultimately denied throughout 2010, a motion was filed in 2020 on Chad's behalf requesting a video hearing to purge the bench warrant, and ultimately, close the case in Venango County Pennsylvania.

After Nance, the horse queen, fails to appear at the scheduled court date, Pennsylvania dismisses the custody issue on May 21st, 2021. They did NOT resolve the issue of "contempt." In 2022, Chad fought the federal charges, offering extradition in return for air ambulance transport and a speedy trial, or requested the U.S. to dismiss the indictment. Sadly, the U.S. was not ready to let it go, and Chad is STILL in St. Kitts needing urgent medical care.
