Fr. Bryan gave this homily on the 2nd Sunday of the Church at St. Joseph Chaldean Catholic Church in Troy, Michigan. He preached about the man with the withered hand and how his hand was a source of embarrassment for him which is why he was used to hiding it. He never asked Jesus to heal his hand. Jesus approached him and told him to stretch out his hand and until he stretched out his hand to Jesus, his hand was healed. The same for us - until we stretch out whatever it is that is our source of shame and embarrassment to Jesus - we will not be healed.
