This is a brief introduction to my second discussion which is presented to you as a taste of the philosophical buffet I am offering, my chef-d’œuvre, Chalice in Wunderland. As a philosopher, I engage in the study and creation of engaged literature. Can you think of your favorite examples of engaged literature? Socrates and Jordan Peterson, as well as the beloved Rabbi, Jesus of Nazareth, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Puscifer, Scott Mescudi, Leonardo DiCaprio, Steve DeAngelo with the Last Prisoner Project, Ms. Elizabeth Leiba, Iboo Tall, Jérôme Royer, Ernest Crim III, Bobby Judas Lockhart (DJ of Excellence, Entrepreneur, Songwriter, Poet, Engaged Artist), Kelly Closse (polyglot, musician, philanthropist) and Dr. Carole Edwards have all made significant contributions using discourse to teach and help people live their best lives. I would also like to mention DJ Hookz, otherwise known as Daniel Hooks. He is a gifted and skilled musician of House music. His music helped me get through my French MA program, teach my students, carry my first child, and enjoy the process. I listened to the same mix every day walking in the morning from Tech Terrace to teach my students for two months. I never tired of it. I broke the thumb drive and lost it when my daughter was a toddler. One of his best mixes ever, if not, the best. Never backed it up. Let’s hope and pray that I can recover his work and return it to the rightful owner. That being said, I honor your efforts everyone. I would like to take a moment to single out Beyoncé for her artistry in Black is King! Next, Rihanna for showing us model behavior, Oprah Winfrey for believing in herself and teaching us about the art of conversation, and Ms. Viola Davis. If I could have my dream President, it would be you or my favorite Romeo of all time, Mr. Leonardo DiCaprio. Hey, it worked for President Reagan but I argue that Mr. DiCaprio is next level, and the level is in resonance with us today. In the USA we have today. He is well spoken and charming. Intelligent, learned, wise, compassionate, creative, in tune with the full expression of the human condition, as he has demonstrated through his acting career. Creed should make a scent just for him. But I digress. As I was saying, we need a smooth operator, after we support the presidency of our current Commander in Chief, President Joe Biden who I have been helping via my discourse. Eventually he will see it. Finally, thank you to my meditation teacher, Michel. You are a blessing from God! And to the four monks who have provided teachings that I count on to be pleasing in the eyes of God, a good example of healthy conflict resolution in my country of origin, a respectful traveler, an advanced meditator, to have another tool for me to fight suicidal ideation and save my life.
