We follow a man named Joel, who is tasked with escorting a young girl named Ellie across the country in order to find a group of resistance fighters known as the Fireflies. Along the way, the two characters must fight off infected enemies and hostile human survivors, while also dealing with their own personal demons. The game version is widely considered to be one of the greatest video games ever made, and it has won numerous awards for its storytelling, characters, and gameplay.
