It’s interesting that we only want to start things we know we will win, yet we are notoriously bad at defining “winning” from our limited knowledge of a thing. It’s like we can’t understand what success actually means unless we start (or finish), but we don’t want to start unless we are assured of success.

Shine light on them and they will grow tall and strong and turn toward the sun. A little bit of targeted encouragement goes a long way.

We know where we WANT to be, but getting there can be a little tricksy and we have to remove temptations in order for us to achieve them

But when you’re a perfectionist, letting other people help can be hard to do.

Sometimes intentional living can be super uncomfortable and weird

Everyone wants A++ superstar players on their team, even if they haven’t developed the skills to scout, recruit, pay, and manage that team. Take some time to be honest with yourself about where your organization is and then consider that a batch of solid players might be what you need as you grow together!

You can start seeing subtle shifts in 6 months and in 12 you can be in a completely different place. In your family, in your workplace, in your mind even.

The best way to be happy is not to keep wishing for more and looking for what other people have. Make the best of whatever you have
