This customer had a leak on their water heater which was installed in 1997. We'll be replacing the water valve, and control valve, including the heater. When we're out at a customer's home, it's our responsibility to ensure all components related to the water heater are up to code, including venting, piping, valves, etc. All these items are inspected prior to our installation, and these required code upgrades are explained to the customer prior to installation. Some signs to consider with a failing water heater include discolored water, water buildup around the unit, lukewarm water temperature, strange noises, length of time since repair/replacement. When the water heaters begin to leak, unfortunately, there is no fix available. If you have any plumbing needs, including a water heater, please reach out to us!
