Bangladesh’s long-serving prime minister Sheikh Hasina has resigned following weeks of anti-government protests. At the end of last month, Kerry’s Bangladeshi community organised a peaceful protest in Tralee to highlight the turmoil in the country. It was held in response to reports that the government of the South East Asian state had killed hundreds of its own citizens.  Anowarul Azim, who organised the Tralee gathering, gave his reaction to Jerry and explained the context.
