We get to spend some QT with the Forbidden in this one, and once again, this book made me boo hoo my eyes out

Whew, get your fans ready for this one, y'all! Mercy is one of the best heroines in the series and Riley is just the stick in mud to drive her crazy. One of my favs in the series and one that definitely holds up to rereading

My second encounter with this book went far better than I expected! Thumbs up for all the political thriller elements, thumbs meh for the romance
