When former Australian captain Belinda Clark started her cricket career she still had to work another job to earn a living.

Cricket - and women's cricket - has come a long way in the past few decades, in no small part to Belinda's contribution to the sport.

From her record breaking batting performances that helped pave the way for other women players, to her efforts in leadership, mentoring and administration, including evolving the sport for junior players.

In 2025 she was elevated to Legend status in the Sport Australia Hall of Fame.
