There is growing demand for native seed in Australia: for things like essential revegetation and restoration projects and the growing number of carbon abatement projects.  

But at the same time, the critical native seed sector faces many challenges, including the impacts of climate change and the loss of native vegetation.

The Euroa Arboretum manages one of just a few seed banks in Victoria, harvesting and storing a diverse collection of native seed for large scale projects in Victoria.
