More than a quarter of a century ago, farmer David Elliott was sheep mustering in outback Queensland when he made a chance discovery that changed his life.

The fossil David found started a journey that revived Australia's palaeontology field, boosted tourism and put the Queensland town of Winton and surrounding areas on the map as the dinosaur capital of Australia.
