There are many places in Australia where the night is far from dark, illuminated by street lights, buildings, and many other artificial sources.

But this lighting is having a huge impact on our wildlife, including the endangered baby turtles on the beaches of Queensland's sunshine coast which are being driven into the clutches of predators.
