Parts of Australia's coastline have seen significant changes over the years and it's only predicted to get worse as the climate changes.

In Geelong, south-west of Melbourne, properties were left flooded, prompting calls for the construction of a sea wall to protect the shoreline.

But one council manager had another idea: artificial reefs.
