Sue Murdoch is a well-known name in the town of Lithgow at the base of the Blue Mountains in NSW.  

In what started as a journey to find support when her grandson came to live with her, she ended up creating a way for other parents and carers of children with disability to connect. she runs workshops, has opened a weekly community kitchen for those in need and the elderly and is a touchpoint for the community.
