Time Out Youth Center is a place where lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning youth ages 11-20 can experience a sense of belonging and community. In this episode, UNCC student Brin Sullivan meets the Director of Programs and Services to see how Time Out is bridging the gap between the queer youth of Charlotte and the resources they need. 

Skin Deep is an episode which explores the importance of racial education as a conduit to cultivating greater societal cohesion as well as reduction in racial inequality. This episode is hosted by Wendy McConnell and highlights local advocates, Dr. Lucretia Carter-Berry founder of Brownicity, Chuck Collier of Racial Equity Cabarrus and Rev. Dr. Claude Forehand pastor of First Baptist Church of Kannapolis, and how they are working to increase racial literacy in their communities.
