What would you do if one day you were at school like normal and all the sudden you hear gunshots and the school is on lockdown.  That is what happened to Taylor when she was in high school.  She lived in a small rural town that didn't see much action and yet they were now a statistic.  She talks about the event and how it all went down but then discusses further the aftermath of PTSD that she didn't count on.  She has had to learn to heal and gives tips on how she did that.

In this interview we learn more about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. Natalie adopted her son when he was a baby.  He was later diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder later in life after years of her advocating on his behalf.  Through her son growing up and Natalie researching all the ways to help him life as inter-independent as possible, she decided that the world needed more information and support for this disorder.   She decided to start a support group, website and podcast that all revolve around helping parents who's children have FASD.  Please see all the links below for more information about Natalie and what she is doing with FASD Hope.

Starting out with deciding ok I will have 1 kid and then within a few years ending up with 4 because you had triplets would overwhelm anyone.  Sue was someone who wasn't sure she even wanted kids and then had 4 under the age of 4 and her world changed for sure.  She had some trial by fire parenting lessons that made her change the way she was looking at parenting all together.  That's when she started trying some new techniques and looking at the way she was handling things and not about her kids behavior.  She ended up writing her new book called Secrets to parenting without giving a F__K!.
