John 2:1-11

 

What big picture truth is God showing us?

 

1. Jesus shows up.  (John 2:1-2)

The ultimate bridegroom & redeemer. (Galatians 4:4-5)

The long-awaited Messiah. (Luke 2:11)

God Himself is present. (Matthew 28:20)

 

2. Jesus is bigger than any problem. (John 2:3-8)

Someone fell short. (Romans 3:23)

The righteousness of Jesus is shown. (Ephesians 6:1-3)

The covenant is filled full through cleansing. (1 John 1:9)

 

3. Because of Jesus, the best is yet to come. (John 2:9-11)

This wedding is a preview of a great wedding feast to come. (Revelation 19:6-9)

It’s all about the glory of Christ being revealed. (1 Corinthians 10:31)

Jesus is the hope of the world.
