Black HR Professional: We Judge Hood-Sounding Names On Resumes, Hide Your Real Names To Get In The Door. Your resume may be too “hood” for some job recruiters? A Black HR professional went online to warn job candidates that they should be whitening up their resumes by deleting references to their race, and research has proven the strategy pays off. Saying she was “just trying to keep it real,”  “Tips from the HR department.Hood names on resumes. Listen, are we judging you, yes we are. I’m just trying to keep it real. When we see a name that’s hard to pronounce… We are judging you by your name first…If you have a middle name that is maybe less hood, do your initial, your middle name, and last name. It will get you in the door…”   Others tweeted that they felt the information was helpful. One user wrote, “The Black ppl commenting on her being elitists Or classist when she’s giving everyone an insiders perspective and free game is why Black ppl can’t get ahead. You have to get your foot in the door to spark real change not just be angry and scream injustice from outside the door” Others said “This type of rhetoric is what enables discrimination in the work place and it has got to stop.   What are your overall thoughts? Black Rob, rapper and former Bad Boy artist, dies at 52. Rob’s former label mate, Mark Curry, said that he was with the rapper when he died. “Rest in peace to my brother," he said. Black Rob, the New York City rapper formerly part of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Bad Boy label, has died. He was 52, according to the New York Times. Rob’s former label mate, Mark Curry, announced Rob’s death in two videos posted to Instagram on Saturday, and Variety has confirmed his passing through additional sources. “I don’t know where to begin this,” Curry said in the first video. “But I thank everybody for the donations. Rob passed away about an hour ago.” In a second video, Curry said that he was with the rapper when he died. “Rest in peace to my brother. I was there with him. I was there with him,” Curry said. “Puff, I ain’t talked to Puff in 15 years — we talked today,”   Curry continued, referring to Combs. “This is the beginning of a new us. Rob made sure he knew what he had to do before he parted this world to make sure we all alright, and that’s what he did. Bad boy for life, yo.” Rob’s cause of death has not been confirmed, though Rob’s friend DJ Self posted on Instagram that he was suffering from kidney issues last week. On April 11, Curry and producer Mike Zombie started a GoFundMe to help Rob pay his medical bills. The next day, Curry said on Instagram that Rob had been released from the hospital and mentioned he planned to go see him later to help with his recovery. In another video, Curry said Rob was put on dialysis. “This Gofundme is to help him find a home, pay for medical help & stability during these trying times. We’ve lost a lot of legends and we can’t afford to lose anymore. This is my way to try and help,” its description reads. Donations poured in following the announcement of his death.

Diddy Calls Out corporations, But Should he point the finger at himself. The Jessie Woo was approached to do a show with Revolt Tv and Media, but Revolt didn't wanna pay. Who Should have Paid Rob's medical bills? Maybe Diddy? Diddy decided to pay for funeral costs. But..too little too late? Many on Social Media have said that he wants to do this because it's cheaper than paying Rob's family publishing rights etc. Why wasn't Rob's Go Fund Me Just paid out flat? Especially due to the money Black Rob's hit single "Whoa" brought into the Bad Boy Label.

While at Killer Mike's birthday, Diddy had to find a way to put the spotlight on himself, so he decided this was the perfect time to announce his new record label. Puffy proclaimed, "I'm back in the music industry doing what I love and this is one of the first artists signed to Love Records." He introduced singer/songwriter Stacy Barthe.   Barthe has been nominated for a Grammy for her work with Katy Perry, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Nipsey Hussle, and Beyonce.  What do you think about Diddy’s business ethics?

For example, Cardi B’s performance with Megan The Stallion was broadcasted on National Television during the 2021 Grammys.  Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion took the stage together for a performance tonight at the 2021 Grammy Awards. They performed their hit single “WAP.” Meg opened the performance with a glitzy, Old Hollywood–style set-piece where she did a live version of “Body” and “Savage.” The performance involved a golden staircase, a flurry of bills, and tap dancers wearing flapper outfits.Cardi then made her grand entrance for a live performance of “Up” (which featured set decorations like a dance pole and an enormous stiletto) before the women joined forces to sing “WAP” for the first time live together.

“WAP” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 last year. A popular social media relationship expert and author, who happens to be married, has been exposed as an adulterer by a woman he is said to have known for ten years. She dished all the dirt on the alleged affair. Candice De Medeiros exposed her affair with Derrick Jaxn during an interview with a popular vlogger Tasha K. on Friday. De Medeiros claimed Jaxn told her he was separated from his wife of four years. Last July, the millionaire-playboy planned a Miami getaway with De Medeiros where he lavished the young woman with fine dining and money, the publication reported. After that trip, Jaxn brought the woman to Atlanta to stay in the home he shares with his wife and kids. De Medeiros said in the interview that she what appeared to be moving boxes and assumed that his story was true. His family was in Colorado visiting his in-laws. The mistress provided receipts of her meetups with the philanderer, including a cozy shot taken from the bed he shared with his wife in their Atlanta home.  De Medeiros had sent her over $1000 during the short affair. Jaxn became a social media relationship “expert” because his platform was based on having healthy relationships being honest and loving Black women. He has written best-selling books and has an enormous following. Unwine With Tasha K. dropped receipts from his alleged side chick who claimed that the man filmed his famous car videos outside her home and that she had contact with him on March 18. The mistress also claimed she had been pregnant with Jaxn’s baby.

A series of text messages between Jaxn and an unidentified woman took a stalkerish turn after the mistress read Jaxn the riot act and blocked him for lying. Apparently, the rejection was too much for Jaxn’s ego and he told the woman they needed to talk face to face. Da’Naia Jackson has also uploaded videos to social media by herself sporting her trademark army fatigue and bonnet look. Da’Naia Jackson claims “You see a bonnet…I see the helmet of salvation. You see an army green shirt…I see the breastplate of righteousness. I see the belt of truth and the sandals of peace.” She then proceeded to go on a religious spiel using God and the Bible as a defense for her decision to remain in her marriage. Blogger The Plainest Jane recently uncovered that Da’Naia Jackson and Derrick Jaxn are a part of Ed Citronelli Ministries, known for their wild outlandish exorcisms, AKA “Oral Sex Demon” pastor.

Now Meet “Soho Karen” Miya Ponsetto, 22, of Piru, California, faces attempted  robbery and grand larceny charges as well as a charge of acting in a manner injurious  to a child after an incident last month in New York, the New York Police  Department said in an email. Miya Ponsetto was caught on video falsely accusing popular Black musician Keyon Harrold’s 14-year-old son of  cell phone theft. She has been charged with two counts of attempted assault, New York police said. Ponsetto was arrested in Piru, California and has been extradited to New York, a spokesperson for the New York Police Department told CNN. 

For a segment on CBS This Morning, Gayle King sat down with Miya Ponsetto and her  Lawyer and gave Ponsetto a chance to explain her controversial actions, which ultimately led to her arrest. Gayle King began their virtual sit-down by asking Ponsetto to "help her understand" why she thought Harrold Jr., specifically, had taken her phone. In what Gayle later called her "favorite part" of the interview, Ponsetto responded by lowering her hand to the screen and telling Gayle, "Enough." Ponsetto's attorney, Sharen H. Ghaten, appeared to be visibly shocked when her client interrupted Gayle, and muttered, "Stop. Stop."  Also Discussed: Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, Donald Trump, Power, Privilege and much more.

In this episode, Join Team EI as they discuss Viral Youtube couple De’arra and  Ken and the recent cheating controversy.  De’arra Taylor and Ken Walker are a popular YouTube couple, collectively   known as ‘De’arra & Ken 4 Life’ on Youtube. Fans were shocked when a  video  of Ken Walker seemingly cozying up to another woman–who’s not his  fiancee De’arra– hit the internet. Ken was spotted out in these streets with a woman in a parking lot.  In the video, Ken is seen slightly touching the girl’s booty. DK4L fans quickly started researching to find more out on  The mystery women in the video which turned out to be Instagram Model Morgan Pierce.  The plot thickens, as this woman is married, and the husband, Elijah  Pierce  put her on blast for not seeing their daughter in weeks. Adding to that,  the husband  says he is divorcing her. “I met the girl an hour before that video at  the lounge because we were all in the same area celebrating the same  thing,” Ken explains. “We had a BRIEF introduction in the lounge which  started by her saying ‘hey, I know who you are’. She wasn’t the first  person nor the last to say that to me and everybody around me knows  that.” Ken goes on to explain that they all left the lounge and “there was zero  flirting involved.”

In addition to Ken’s apology, Morgan Pierce also issued an apology of  her own. She corroborated Ken’s story that they never flirted, and made  it clear that she’s not trying to get in the middle of Ken and De’arra’s  relationship. “Lemme start by apologizing to Ken and De’arra. Had no  type  intentions of ruining a relationship. We were literally in the  club, everyone left at the same time,” Morgan began in her post “We had a very brief conversation, we were not flirting,” Pierce  clarified. “We have not had any conversation before or after the video  came out. In the video, we hugged and then he touched my butt,” she  admitted. “If you continue to watch, I stepped back and leaned on the car. I was  not rubbing on him. I didn’t go home with him didn’t even go to his  car,” Morgan added.

Many feel that De’arra could flourish with a Youtube show of her own.  Rihanna added  De’arra to her growing list of Savage x Fenty ambassadors. Viral  YouTuber and influencer De'arra Taylor of De'arra & Ken 4 Life  announced December 2019 that she too is now a representative of the  exploding lingerie brand. Also discussed in this episode is the recent  relationship twists of Cardi B and Offset. Cardi B filed for divorce and  asked for "primary physical custody" of the couple's two-year-old  daughter, Kulture. Only to rekindle their romance during Cardi B's 28th  birthday celebrations.

Welcome to a new episode on The Kronicles Of Kool Conversations with Kool Special  featuring Ms. Begine.Ms. Begine and Mizterkool deep dive into The Tory Lanez/Megan Thee Stallion incident from earlier this year.The pair first sparked rumors about their relationship  when they appeared on Tory’s Quarantine Radio livestream from Megan’s house. While the lighthearted stream found the two laughing it up as Megan failed to teach Tory the latest  TikTok dance, some fans noted that their activities seemed to be violating social distance guidelines. For the most part, though, it seemed as though the two were having a good time  and made a fun couple. The first signs of trouble in paradise arose when news broke in  mid-July that Tory had been arrested for carrying a concealed weapon while  Megan Thee Stallion, a passenger in his SUV at the time of his arrest,  had suffered an injury to her foot. At the time, the injury was reported as a cut from broken glass as a result of the altercation that sent police looking for Tory’s vehicle in the first place. Witnesses at a party the couple attended described an argument and multiple gunshots before the car  peeled away, and video of the arrest showed Megan The Stallion leaving behind clearly visible, bloody footprints as she exited the vehicle. Friend (now ex friend) Kelsey Nicole was also in the SUV.

Tory Lanez has released a new album called DAYSTAR, which is essentially a concept  album about Megan Thee Stallion’s claim that he shot her in July. He claims on the album  that he was “framed.” “How the fuck you get shot in your foot, don’t hit no bones or tendons,”  he sings in “Money Over Fallouts.”Throughout DAYSTAR, Tory Lanez (whose legal name is  Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson) repeatedly references the backlash against him (and includes samples of people talking about the incident), mentions Megan’s Instagram Live comments  about him, and generally references “cancel culture.” He raps that he’s “innocent” on “The Most High” and makes several references to Megan’s management team at Roc Nation.  Tory Lanez was arrested on Sunday morning (July 12) following an argument that led to police finding a gun in his car, Billboard can confirm.According to TMZ, who first reported the news, police responded to a call of a disturbance outside of a Hollywood Hills home, where witnesses said people were arguing in an SUV before shots were fired in the air and the  vehicle left the scene. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that Lanez (born Daystar Peterson), 27, was arrested for a felony count of carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, but said that no additional information was available on the incident at press time.“It’s a shame we here today, truth be told, it’s ’cause of you,” Kelsey Nicole raps at the start of “Bussin Back,” the Megan Thee Stallion diss track she dropped on Nov. 25. “Bussin Back” was a direct response to Megan’s “Shots Fired,” in which the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper dragged Tory Lanez for allegedly shooting her in the foot.
