I'm back doing another episode alone, after having an incredibly inspiring and fun weekend my mind has been flooded with different ideas. I started off talking about a reel i had seen about going against the grain and not being afraid of being bold, and that made me think about questioning the first authorities you have, like your parents. Somehow that brought me to the idea of soulmates, career callings, love, connection and the meant to be moments of life. The beliefs in life that we are born with that restrict us from childhood. Enjoying the slow and regular moments that end up being the most important ones in your life which is just cherishing the presence of loved ones. The mind f*ck of time, and the strongest feelings that scare us can be our greatest asset in creative endeavors, and just how beautiful life is.

Dave is a comedian/photographer, we met doing open mics in Manhattan a little while ago. Dave and I bonded over our love for having a good time and getting smashed, sometimes too much. He's one of the nicest people I've ever met and we become very good friends over the last year. Today we sat down and talked about past relationships, getting wasted, sobriety, drugs, fun, love, dating, women, and for lack of a better term, thoughts of checking out early. Joe is a stand up comedian originally from Arizona, he moved to New York to pursue comedy a few years ago. I met Joe about a year ago, we started Plan B Comedy together. We run a biweekly open mic called Avenue B(omb) at Eastpoint in Alphabet city, and we produce a monthly comedy show called Comedy Kills. Besides a "work colleague" i consider Joe an incredibly good friend of mine, and he's one of the funniest guys I know. In this episode we touched on topics like comedy (of course), the different genres of it, types of audience members, energy/presence on stage & off, the difference between actors and comics, masturbation, horror stories on stage, politics, opening up as a man, and more hot takes on nonsense i'm sure.

Cam is a fellow comedian and has a podcast called "Going After It" but more importantly he's a very good friend of mine, he's one of my favorite people to chat with. After a long break the podcast is back. After focusing on stand up for the last few years, I've been dragging my feet to get the pod back up and running. I decided to do the first episode back alone and talk about ideas and topics that have been floating around my head, less funny stuff and more of a real conversation with myself. I talk about stand up, relationships, living the life you actually want to live, cherishing all moments (even the bitter ones), feeling alive, trusting your gut, love/heartbreak, recent events with important people in my life, comparisons between writing material and arguments with lovers, and just raw truth about myself lately.
