Story Transcript:

Cy: Roedd hi'n fore hyfryd yn Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.
En: It was a lovely morning in Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

Cy: Gwen a'i defaid, Bryn, oedd yn cerdded tuag at y gystadleuaeth flynyddol ar gyfer cŵn defaid.
En: Gwen and her sheepdog, Bryn, were walking towards the annual competition for sheepdogs.

Cy: Roedd Gwen yn fywiog a phenderfynol i ennill y tro hwn.
En: Gwen was lively and determined to win this time.

Cy: Rhys, ei ffrind gorau, a'i gi defaid, Seren, oedd eisoes yno'n aros amdani.
En: Rhys, her best friend, and his sheepdog, Seren, were already there waiting for her.

Cy: Wrth iddynt gerdded ar hyd y ffordd gul, gwaeddodd gwenoliaid yn llon, a Bryn yn brefu yn ei ôl yn gyson.
En: As they walked along the winding road, cheerful birds sang, and Bryn barked cheerfully behind her consistently.

Cy: Ond wedi troi cornel, dyma drobwynt yr hanes.
En: But as they turned a corner, this was the turning point of the story.

Cy: Roedd ceir wedi'u gosod mewn rhes hir, fel draig sy'n gorwedd ar hyd y lôn.
En: Cars were lined up in a long row, like a dragon lying along the road.

Cy: Roedd traffig yn sownd, a goleuadau cochion yn fflachio ymhell a phell.
En: Traffic was heavy, and red lights were flashing far and wide.

Cy: Gwen a Bryn oedd ar flaen y tagfeydd.
En: Gwen and Bryn were at the front of the line.

Cy: Roedd terfysg, gyrrwyr yn canu eu cornau, a Bryn yn fwyfwy nerfus.
En: There was chaos, drivers honking their horns, and Bryn getting more and more nervous.

Cy: Gadawodd Gwen Bryn am funud i weld beth oedd y broblem.
En: Gwen left Bryn for a moment to see what the problem was.

Cy: Ond wrth i Bryn deimlo'r unigedd, cymrodd gamau bach i ganol y ffordd, ac yn fuan iawn, roedd yn rhan o'r problemau.
En: But as Bryn felt the loneliness, he took little steps into the middle of the road, and very soon, he was part of the problems.

Cy: Rhys, a oedd ymhellach yn ôl yn y ciw, welodd y sefyllfa ac aeth i helpu.
En: Rhys, who was further back on the hill, saw the situation and went to help.

Cy: "Gwen, mae Bryn yn y ciw!
En: "Gwen, Bryn is on the road!"

Cy: " gwaeddodd Rhys, wrth iddo redeg drwy’r ceir.
En: Rhys shouted as he ran through the cars.

Cy: Gwen a Rhys a gyfrannodd i ddatrys y sefyllfa.
En: Gwen and Rhys contributed to solving the situation.

Cy: Rhys yn arwain Seren, gan ddefnyddio'r cŵn i helpu gyrru Bryn yn ôl at ymyl y ffordd.
En: Rhys led Seren, using the dogs to help guide Bryn back to the side of the road.

Cy: Gwen yn siarad â gyrrwyr, gan geisio tawelu'r sefyllfa a gosod pawb yn eu lle drwy ei doleddu.
En: Gwen spoke to the drivers, trying to calm the situation and place everyone in their place through her soothing voice.

Cy: Ar ôl rhai munudau o waith tîm da, tyrau Bryn yn ôl wrth ymyl Gwen.
En: After a few minutes of good teamwork, Bryn made it back to Gwen’s side.

Cy: Roedd y traffig yn dechrau symud eto, gyda Gwen a Rhys yn cymryd y defaid i gyfeiriad diogel.
En: Traffic was starting to move again, with Gwen and Rhys taking the sheep in a safe direction.

Cy: Er gwaethaf yr anturiaethau, fe gyrhaeddodd pawb y gystadleuaeth yn ddiweddarach nag oeddent wedi disgwyl, ond gyda straeon i'w hadrodd a chwerthin yn eu galon.
En: Despite the mishaps, everyone arrived at the competition later than expected, but with stories to tell and laughter in their hearts.

Cy: Er na chyrhaeddais y brig y tro hwn, roedd Gwen yn hapus bod pawb yn iawn ac roedd wedi dysgu gwers bwysig – byth â gadael defaid ar ei ben ei hun ar y ffordd fawr.
En: Although she didn't reach the top this time, Gwen was happy that everyone was okay and she had learned an important lesson – never leave a sheep alone on the big road.

Cy: Ac felly, gyda'r haul yn suddo tu ôl i goedwig y pentref, roedd Gwen, Rhys, Bryn a Seren yn crwydro yn ôl i'r cartref, yn gyfeillion mwy agos nag erioed o'r blaen.
En: And so, as the sun sank behind the village woodland, Gwen, Rhys, Bryn, and Seren headed back home, closer friends than ever before.

Cy: Yn rhannu rhwng chwerthin a siarad am y diwrnod oedd, ac yn disgwyl yr holl anturiaethau a fyddai'n dod yn y dyfodol.
En: Sharing between laughter and talking about the day that was, and anticipating all the adventures that would come in the future.
