Chapter 2 delves into the Beverly Jarosz case. Beverly Jarosz was a beautiful 16-year-old girl who lived in the Garfield Heights neighborhood located in Cleveland, Ohio. From all accounts, Beverly had everything going for her. She was well-liked in the community as well as at school. She had a close relationship with her younger sister and loved spending time with her grandmother. She loved writing poetry and began writing her poems in a notebook that her parents bought her in the hopes of publishing her poems once the pages were filled up. That all changed on December 28, 1964 when someone took her life away from her. Someone came into her home where they brutally murdered Beverly in her bedroom. The lives of the Jarosz family, friends, and members of the community were forever changed on that fateful day. Fifty-three and a half years later, we are still awaiting justice for Beverly.
