When I met Dan I was barely making $2000 a week, I was working 1 day a week at the salon, and serving 5 days a week. I’ve never made more than 23k in my life. When I first met Dan he was working at PayPal and when I found out how much money he was making I was like “Holy shit, I’m gonna have to step up my money game” He inspired me to do more in my business, to be better and make more money. 

In April of 2017, I invested $500 in myself and my business and it was the best decision of my life. I ended up buying Britt Seva’s Thrivers Society Program and it changed my life. 

I found this group called Girls New To Austin and became very active in there. I would post on every single hair post and became one of the top hairstylists recommenced in that group. I’m so thankful for that, I get so many new clients from that group and more. 

At the beginning of 2018 I ended up moving to Pearl Salon, working 3 days a week, I wouldn’t have been able to do that had it not been for Thrivers Society. I built myself up from 1 day a week to 3 days a week booth renting. I noticed a huge change in my income in 2017 and then I more than doubled it in 2018. I’ve never seen growth like that or made this kind of money in my life.

My goal is to make 100k this year, only working 3 days a week doing what I love. I know that it is taboo to talk about money but I don’t care! I want to inspire you to make money doing what you love! I’ve invested 1000’s of dollars in education and I finally feel like I can call myself an expert at what I do. I am where I am now because I invested in myself and I strive to be an expert at my craft. I’m to the point where I only do that hair that I love, that gives me joy, that makes me happy. I hope to inspire you to do the same thing! 

I firmly believe that we live in a day and age where EVERYONE can be making over 100k at least! If you have a passion for something, and you can serve others, that’s the key. I’ve been listening to Jame’s Wedmore’s podcast Mind Your Business and he talks about having a money mindset like this: The more money you make means the more impact you are having on others. 

If you are thinking about starting a business or have a business I highly suggest looking inwards. Focus on yourself, because once your mindset changes about money, once you start realizing the mind stories you’re telling yourself, the negative self-talk, the way you’re holding yourself back with your mind, once you realize this you’ll start to see growth when you change your mindset. 

The main takeaway is this find your passion and combine it with service and you’ll start seeing amazing results in your life!
