In this teaching Pastor Bill teaches about the launch of the early church as Jesus prepares His followers for the mission ahead. After His resurrection, He appears to the disciples, promises the Holy Spirit, and calls them to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth. Jesus then ascends into heaven, and the disciples return to Jerusalem united in prayer and full of expectation. While they wait, Matthias is chosen to replace Judas, setting the stage for all that is about to unfold.

Hosea 13 shows Israel’s deep guilt in turning from God to idols, and it warns that their rebellion will bring severe judgment and destruction. Yet Hosea 14 ends with a tender call to return to the Lord, promising that God will heal their unfaithfulness, love them freely, and restore them with new life and fruitfulness. Together, these chapters move from the seriousness of sin and its consequences to the hope of repentance, mercy, and renewal for all who come back to God.

In this special teaching, Pastor Bill explains what a Seder dinner is and teaches how  it is more than a meal, the Seder is a time to reflect on freedom, faith, and passing the story on to the next generation. Hosea 11–12 shows both the love and justice of God. In chapter 11, Pastor Bill teaches how God speaks tenderly of loving and caring for Israel like a child, even though they kept turning away from Him. In chapter 12, Israel is confronted for pride, deceit, and trusting in themselves instead of returning to God. Together, these chapters remind us that God’s love is persistent, but He also calls His people to repentance, truth, and faithfulness.

In this teaching, Pastor Bill explains how God warns Israel that their unfaithfulness, idolatry, and pride will lead to judgment and loss. They had turned away from Him, trusted in false worship, and produced empty religion instead of real obedience. Yet the message is also a call to repentance—to break up the hardened ground of their hearts and seek the Lord again before it is too late.

In this study,Pastor Bill Schott teaches how in Hosea 7 reveals Israel’s deep corruption—hearts burning with unchecked desires, chasing foolish alliances, and refusing to return to God even as their strength quietly slips away. Then in chapter 8 we learn how God confronting them for breaking His covenant and swapping true worship for man-made idols, like the golden calf. They claim, “We know You,” but their lives deny it, and the warning is clear: what’s sown in sin will be reaped in judgment. It’s a sober call to reject shortcuts and empty religion and return to genuine repentance and faithful devotion.

This study on Hosea chapters 5–6 examined God’s charge against Israel’s leaders and people for persistent unfaithfulness and superficial repentance. Pastor Bill emphasized how religious activity had replaced genuine obedience, leading to broken relationship and inevitable discipline. The study highlighted God’s heart—not for empty ritual, but for steadfast love, humility, and true repentance that results in lasting change.

In Hosea 3–4 Pastor Bill highlights a powerful contrast: God’s unwavering love versus Israel’s unfaithfulness. Despite betrayal, God’s goal is restoration, not abandonment. Yet a lack of truth and knowledge of God leads to moral collapse and consequences. Judgment warns, but redemption remains the bigger story.
