God made a covenant with Abraham to bless Him and make him great. To make him and his descendants a blessing to nations and to also give them a land flowing with milk and honey as an inheritance. 430 years later Moses was sent to lead the descendants of Abraham from slavery in Egypt yet they had lost their way of worship and the knowledge of the God of their fathers was not in them. They had to learn again to serve God and keep the covenant promise alive. Hence the Law came in to tutor them until the teacher Himself came to lead them to perfection bringing along gentiles who were not part of the promises from the beginning.

The first and second episodes are from one message preached on Sunday 03 January 2021. The focus is to encourage a believing Christian to rely more on the word of God spoken, preached or heard from the presbytery. Meditation on the word is a visit with God's word and emphasising in scriptural prayers.
