Calgary council voted this week to ask the province to consider lowering the municipal voting age to 16. And it’s sparked a conversation across the country.

1. The Las Vegas Police Department released today their final report on the mass shooting in Las Vegas last October, where gunman Steven Paddock set up in a hotel room to shoot down upon concertgoers below and killed 58 people.

2. The German tourist who was shot in the head yesterday on the highway between Banff and Calgary has survived surgery and is in critical but stable condition.

3. Now I want to tell you about a Canadian that you need to know about. Her name is Anna. She’s 95. And she doesn’t think it’s such a big deal that she has fended off not one but TWO bears in her house this week.
