Last week we told you about the five BC families stuck in Japan. After thinking they had all their paperwork sorted for adopting new members of their families, they were left in legal limbo in the foreign country after the Canadian government refused to issue the newly adopted children visas. Well this weekend finally brought good news, as the families arrived back in BC.

The RCMP could be facing a new $1.1 billion lawsuit, alleging bullying and harassment.

You’ve probably no doubt heard about the drama surrounding the White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, who was asked to leave a restaurant in Virginia Friday night. But it turns out there’s a Canadian connection to this story!

At dawn this upcoming Wednesday, Alberta’s Dave Proctor will start his journey to run across Canada in record time. He’s aiming to do it in 66 days, breaking the current speed record for running across our country set by Al Howie in 1991 when he ran from coast to coast in 72 days and 10 hours. So why would someone want to try run 7,295 km (averaging 108 kilometers a day) for 66 days in a row?! Turns out Dave has a good reason...having to do with his 9 year old son.
