It’s a sad anniversary to celebrate, but although it’s been two years since the Fort McMurray wildfire, only 20% of the over 2-thousand homes destroyed in the blaze have been rebuilt.

Despite strongly denying knowing anything about any payments towards Stormy Daniels, today Donald Trump changed his tune admitting he did know about the Daniels payment (kind of), and in fact reimbursed his personal lawyer Michael Cohen for the $130 000.

Game 4 is underway in Winnipeg as the Jets face the Nashville Predators in Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. But almost as big of a news story as the actual hockey being played on the ice, is the response of Winnipeggers to their team.

This morning, more details emerged about this bizarre story we’re seeing in the States involving the President’s former doctor, who now claims that a letter he released in 2015 declaring Trump the “healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency” was in fact composed by the presidential candidate.

We’re learning more about this awful story from earlier this week in Calgary after a body was found inside a wall at the Core Shopping Centre woman’s bathroom. Today Calgary police determined the man’s death was accidental.

Jon McComb did earlier today on CKNW in Vancouver. He spoke to Brad West, a Councillor from BC municipality Port Coquitlam, who claims high gas prices are the priority for many politicians, and that he’s sat in many meetings where “planning experts” have spoken about “forcing people out of their cars.”
