We’re a few hours away from the Opening Ceremony of the 2018 Winter Olympic games - for our night owls who want to watch they begin at 6am ET/3am PT tomorrow. But heading into the games, an Angus Reid poll released yesterday found most Canadians are less interested in the Olympics...especially as men's hockey is played without NHL players. 36% of Canadians say they aren’t going to watch at all, with Albertans and Atlantic Canadians the least likely to watch.

To boost Olympic pride before the games begin, we turn to a former Olympian who says the Olympics do still matter.
