Lord Michael Bates, the international development minister, offering his resignation after being late for a debate in the House of Lords. Bates turned up towards the end of the half hour debate session to deliver his apology and resignation...but several hours after his dramatic exit, Lord Bates was convinced to keep his job.

And a convenience store in Quebec has found a unique way to serve their small town without any staff...by giving customers the key to the store.

The Senate has passed a bill that makes our national anthem “gender neutral” changing the lyrics of “in all thy sons commands” to “in all of us command.”

Early this month, a chemical cloud descended on a small town in Saskatchewan. Residents complained of headaches, nausea and burning eyes. But it wasn’t until the next day that an oil and gas waste disposal facility revealed the odour was coming from their site, insisting there was ‘no risk to the public’...but the residents of Unity are not so sure.
