We’re sure many Canadian taxpayers would have loved to go to a Blue Jays game this past year...but close to $10-thousand taxpayer dollars were spent by the government on tickets for Canada 150 and “travel influencers.”

Last week, a video of Matthew Spencer Petersen, Trump’s judicial nominee for US District Court went viral as he struggled to answer basic law questions at a confirmation hearing.

Over the past few days, the news came out that the Center for Disease Control had been banned from using the words: vulnerable, science-based, fetus, transgender, diversity, entitlement, evidence-based. For the first time since taking office two years ago, Justin Trudeau’s approval rating has dropped below 50%. According to a new survey from Angus Reid Institute, the prime minister’s approval rating sits at 46 per cent. And, for the first time, more Canadians (49 per cent) say they actually disapprove of his performance. It’s not good news, but there is a silver lining for Trudeau - He’s still fairing better than the competition.
